Garbled Web Pages

I am running IIS 5.0 on Windows 2000 Advanced Server and
maintaing several websites. Most of the sites of fine but
one of the websites is not being displayed properly in the
browser. Images and text appear twice when the page is
being viewed in the browser even thought the code is their
only once. It was happening with the home page of one of
my websites, but the web page author went into another
page; made a few changes and saved them now the same thing
is happening. The server has fp server extensions 2002
installed and my the web author is utilizing fp 2003 to
author the pages. I am not sure if this is a fp problem
or an IIS problem.

It could be an FPSE issue - make sure the most current version extenstions are installed and working on the server.

You may want to post the URL for a more better answer though.

The most current version of server extensions that I am
aware of is 2002 and they are in use on the site. The
site url is https://networkelements.ncs.att.com/ruby, it
is a site that is currently being utilized on our
company's intranet. I was particularly concerned because
the web author says that she made a change to a page that
was working perfectly and when she changed it and looked
at the page in the browser it started doing the same
thing.

There are some bugs in FP2002 & in the FP2002 SE related to shared borders & include pages
so make sure you (and your host) see & apply all appropriate patches from:

For info in Service Pack 1 & 2 for FP2002 / MSO XP - see:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];Q325671

For the Host/Server running the FP2002 SE

For Unix server problems on the FP2002 SE see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q299360
The latest FP SE for Unix that fix the problems
(FPSE 2000 1.4 patch and an FPSE 2002 SR 1.1 patch)
are at http://www.rtr.com/fpsupport

For NT server problems on the FP2002 SE see

For FrontPage Server Extension 2002 Update - see
