General Access Questions - Need some help please..

Here is the two things I need help with.
1. When I am building my form I have a field (text) that is labeled
Department. Then I have about 6 "check boxes" along with the name for each
box. This was a requirement. The only problem I have is that the text box is
on the form. I only want the field label and not the text box. - (i just want
the check box to show)

2. Once this is done I need to save it to my hard drive.....make a copy and
put it on the share drive....and allow the users to enter "records" and save
them. Can't remember what I need to do. I tried to Save As, and it ask me
about saving the form or table (depending what I have open).
Your help is appreciated - thanks!

A bit unsure of what you want in #1. I THINK you just want to get rid of the
label to the left of the check box. Left click on the upper left handle of
the label so that only it is selected (the check box itself is NOT selected).
Hit delete.

#2 - to copy the whole database, close it and use Windows Explorer to copy
the file.
