General folder properties

Could someone provide me a little detail as to what each of these settings
do? I can not find any references to them. Folder General Properties.

Allow Scripts to run...what scripts any? Does this include ASP or just
CGI/PHP/Perl/Javascripts etc?

Allow files to be browsed....by whom? Just in the browser? I know some sites
you can type in the url and folder and a file listing comes up. What does
this mean exactly?

Uploads...I think I understand those. Just confused a little above the
others.

Any supported script. May be all of the above, except javascript wich
isn't a serverside scripting language, or just one of them.
If you want to know what is supported ask your provider.

It means that file browsing is turned on.
Normally you wouldn't want that.
