I have a few ?'s about the Db I am working with.
1. When I am done I would Like to have a form type item to be continously
open on my terminals for input of data, would I use a switchboard for that or
is a form more suitable?
2. Right now I am using a switchboard and have set it up as I want it to
look. I have several combo boxes (dropdowns) that are attached to tables
that display data listed in each table. What I am trying to acheive is, for
an individual to be able to from the terminal, select data from several combo
boxes, click on a button and have that data be input to seperate fields in a
different table.
So..
-Should I be using a switchbard or a form?
-Should my combo boxes be linked to a table to select displayed data?
-Once I dropdown the combo box how do I select an item to be displayed as a
selection in that box?
-How do I set up my selections to be input to a table once a submit button
is clicked on?
-Also I would like the selection to clear once submitted and possibly a
temporary message as to confirm submittion to appear, how do I acheive this?
Hope this is not too many questions, I do appreciate this resourse, you
