I have been designing a Database to log program registrations at a recreation
facility.
As a function of the database, I have been attempting to have Access run a
Query to find lists of instructors required on certain days, and provide a
click-able button on the form which would automatically email the instructor
details about the booking which concerned him / her...
I have the Query running perfectly... finds the client info, & related staff
info,..
I have the command button working...
However when the Outlook window pops up, the email is a blank page, no
address, no text.
I have found how to enclose the required info as an attachment.. But I would
much rather see the data in the body of the message, and have the address
located in the Query automatically be used in the email.. rahter than having
to retype it all.
Is there a way to have access simply send an email without prompting me for
the address or body of the message? Can the contents of a form be turned
into an email and sent automatically to an address located by a query?
Any help would be apreciated.... I am rather self taught on Access... but
have found the program easy to use.
ps. I am dealing with the 2003 version.
