Generic Resources and Team Assignment

Hi,
Ive setup Teams and all my resources have been assigned to a Team.
Ive then Created a Geneic Resource and assigned it to a team.

In Project ive assigned tasks to the Generic Resource, saved and
published.
I belong to the same Team as the Generic Resources.

I then go into PWA, My Work and click Self assign team tasks, but
there is nothing there!?

What am I doing wrong?

You have to set the Team Assignment Pool value to Yes for the Generic
resource, which then makes it a Team resource. Open the Enterprise Resource
Pool in Project Professional 2007 and check out the Generic resource.
Temporarily insert the Team Assignment Pool field and set the value to Yes.
Save and close the Enterprise Resource Pool. Then open and republish the
project in question. Now you should be able to see the Team task on the
Self-Assign Team Tasks page. Of course, I am assuming you have correctly
set up everything else about the Team resource and the people assigned to
the team. Hope this helps.
