generic vs. "real" resources specified in a template

If you assign a "real" resource rather than a generic one to template
tasks and save it, are assignments created or only if a project is
saved? My guess would be no, only when the project is created from the
template.

It should NOT create assignments for these if they are saved as
enterprise templates. but for sure doublecheck it.
