Get count for a table of dates

Hello,

I have a table of dates that I need a count for. There is approximately
10,000 dates. some of them repeating. I need a count per day. So if
10/31/06 shows up six times it would write it to a seperate column as
10/31/06 6.

Easiest solution would be to use a pivot table (data menu)
