get error 1907 while installing MS Office 2007

I get error 1907 when installing Office 2007 in Windows Vista home edition. I
have adequate permissions to install fonts and Vista supports the fonts. So
why the error?

did you ever found a solution?
I have the same problem and have described it on another forum entry, but
all the answers did not help.

If you know any solution or hint...
