We had a wonderful system where data was exchanged seamlessly between
several Excel and Filemaker files. Now that we have moved to Filemaker 7,
none of my previous queries works. I can still export from Filemaker into a
tab file, then open it in Excel, then reformat - but one click of the "Refresh"
button on List Manager was a LOT simpler and faster. (All of the Filemaker
files are shared from a server; using "Get External Data" tries to open
Filemaker 6, and doesn't "see" the Host server.)
Does anyone know of a way to get my elegant process operational again? Is
Microsoft or a third party working on a way to update the query system to
work with filemaker 7?
