Get external parms for Visio Macro

Norm (I know nothing)

In Visio I know how to create the shapes with labels and auto link to those
labels with values from an Excel document. I have created a macro that
creates and places shapes and links. It all works. What I would like to do
if pass parameters to the macro to tell it how many of each shape to create
and what shapes for the links to glue to. Can you recommend any reading or
studies that could help me spool up quick on this? I am running Office 7
