Get Operation Failed Saving As .xls in MS Project

I try to Save As in Microsoft Project (as an excel workbook .xls) and i
opens up a wizard to format my file however when I finish the wizard i
always gives me "Operation Failed" error without any explanation o
where or why. My version is MS Project Standard 2003 (11.2.2005.1801.15
SP2. My op system is XP 2002 SP-2. Take out the "Get" of "Get Operatio
Failed" in the subject line.

I don't know the answer, sorry But installing SP3 for Project 2003 might
help.

Hello Dave,

There was an update released in April 2008 which caused trouble with
importing from Excel. Installing SP-3 to Project should solve the
problem.

After installing SP-3, on the Security tab in Tools > Options,
enable "Allow loading of legacy file formats".
