Get rid of request for progress?

I have a user who accidentally requested progess on all of the tasks in her
plan (ie, Collaborate > Request Progress Information). Now the icon for this
is persistent. Does anyone know if there is any way to cancel this request
and thus get rid of the icon?

Yes, there is a way to cancel the request. Here's how:

1. Open the project in question
2. Click View - Resource Usage
3. Right-click on any column and click Insert Column from the shortcut menu
4. Select the TeamStatus Pending field and click the OK button
5. For each assignment (task), select the No value in the TeamStatus
Pending field
6. Use the fill handle to fill down the No values to speed up the entry
process
7. Save and publish the project
