Get Windows Installer error 1606 Feature ID not registered when I.

Migrated over to a new computer. Installed Office Professional Edition 2003
on new computer to upgrade. When ever opened an old document, got the
"Windows Installer error 1606, feature ID not registered" dialog box.
Installed PDF converter software yesterday and now get that message everytime
I try to create or open up any doucment.
