I configured Outlook Express for newsgroups, but when I try to oogin I
obviously do not have the ID and password set up. Where do I go to set that
up from connect.microsoft.com? I do not see any link fot that.

Thanks,

Jim Marcum

I do not think you need a userid and password to connect to a newsgroup. I
do not have one.

But, that has nothing to do with Microsoft Access, the database application
that is part of MS Office Professional.

If you need help setting up Outlook Express, please post in an Outlook
Express newsgroup.

The ID and password are the same ones you use with your ISP. With adelphia,
it's the master username and password, not sure about TW and others.

Different nnntp (newsgroup/Usenet) servers need different login details.
For example, I'm posting this via msnews.microsoft.com and didn't need
to set up a username and password at all. Most other servers do need you
to log-in: check the organisation's website for details.
