Getting a pdf file icon to show up?

Pdf files in sharepoint show up as unknown files types. How do you get
the pdf icon to show up instead?

Almost there! Its a pretty good start but how do I amend an .xml file ?

Just think of it as a Text file.

So you can open it in Notepad for instance.
