Getting back to Outlook 2002

I have been working on installing a SBS 2003 server which comes with Outlook
2003. So as to know how it deploys, I let it install Outlook 2003 on my
computer and then started using Outlook 2003. But now, I want to get back to
my own Outlook 202.

I could use the 2002 PST file which imported correctly into 2003. When I
did this, it asked whether the version was a 2003 or 97, 98, 2002 version. I
used the later. As I said, all imported OK.

But when I try to export or use the same PST in 2002, Outlook 2002 tells me
that it is not in the correct format and aborts.

Is there a way to migrate all of my 2003 information back so I can use my
Outlook 2002??

I would appreciate any help given.
Thanks in Advance

I wonder why? Outlook 2003 has much better features and the
spam control is improved. Having used it on my computer for
two years, I am really amazed when I have to help my spouse
with Outlook 2002 on her system. I wouldn't go back!

Well I would (Oh Happy New Year!). Try this SigmundL. Make a new pst in Outlook 2002 ie
Outlook XP. Then after you have that all set up and working use the File | Open and browse to your
outlook 2003 pst. Then Open it. If it opens you can just folder by folder transfer the items there into
the Outlook 2002 pst. Be careful here because there are many folders in Outlook 2003 that do not
exist in Outlook 2002 and you want to leave them be. If the Outlook 2003 file does not open in
Outlook XP then you need to go back to Outlook 2003; make a new pst there in Outlook 2000\2002
format; drag the items out of the Outlook 2003 pst to that; then open that in Outlook XP.
