getting errors in POP3 in outlook 2007

Can anyone help me regarding the below error.
sending mails works fine , receving doesn't work , I am using my own
Exchange mail server for POP3 and SMTP.

Task '[email protected] - Receiving' reported error (0x80040154) :
'Unknown Error 0x80040154'

Any particular reason you're using POP3 to connect to an Exchange Server?

I want to setup an offsite client user to download mails but the link is too
slow so trying to set it up as POP3.

I couldn't find the option in 2007 for that , but I don't think that is the
issue as I am only testing it out on LAN.
