Getting previously saved version

I have a user wondering if he could retrieve different version of the same
project from Project server ( some thing kind of VSS). We use project
server/prof 2007. Any ideas?

Yashr --

Your Project Server administrator has the option to set up daily backups of
each project, which would allow you to revert to a previous day's version.
Beyond that, there is no way to revert to a previous version. Hope this
helps.

Thanks for you suggestion. But, would it be easy to get the project reverted
back or would that involve a database restore?

If you set up the backups using the new 2007 administrative backup feature
(under PWA>Server Settings>Database Administration) then it does not require
any db restores like it did in 2003. There is an administrative restore
function there that allows you to restore single projects that have been
backed up in the archive database. It should work with just a few clicks of
the mouse.
