Getting rid of MS Office Trial Edition for Mac OS X

I bought a new Mac. It came with a trial edition of MS office. As I
was installing software for use on my Mac, I drug the Trial edition to
the trash. Then I installed my copy of office. But everytime I open an
MS Office file (without having the program already open), I get a
message that I have so many days left on the trial version. Has anyone
figured out how to get rid of this message?

You should unse the uninstaller from the Office CD. it will truly delete
every file installed with the trial version of Office and you'll then be
able to properly install the new version.
