getting rid of the Allow connection to domain prompt on form open

J

Jeffshex

When I preview or open up a form to fill out, there are 2 seperate dialog
boxes that come up and say: "This is accessing a data source on another
domain. Do you want to allow this?"
Of course I want to allow it! That's why I created it!
I don't want users pressing No...because you know they will.

Is there a way to automatically script or set that as yes and not even have
to prompt that at all?

Please help

I ran into the same thing, but it will stop if you adjust your security
setting in Internet Explorer.

Hi,

InfoPath makes use of Internet Explorer's security - as such, if you want
to eliminate this prompt complete the following steps:

- Launch Internet Explorer
- From the Tools menu choose Internet Options
- Select the Security tab
- Assuming you are on a "Local Intranet" select this option and then click
the Custom Level button
- Scroll to the section: Miscellaneous and enable the option: "Access data
sources across domains"

** NOTE: You would not want to do this for the "Internet" zone.
