Getting Rid of the Standard Toolbar- Office XP

I'm running Office XP under Win XP. I recently created a custom
toolbar to replace the standard toolbar using the customize toolbar
dialog. I selected my new custom toolbar, deselected the standard
toolbar and saved the changes to normal.dot. My new custom toolbar now
loads with each new document, but so does the standard toolbar. In
addition, now the web and reviewing toolbars occasionally pop up and
so now I have to manually close one or more toolbars every time I
start up Word.

Is there a way I can make sure only the toolbar I want loads, and no
other?
