Getting saved documents

I typed up a really great document and saved it, but it was erased and I
accidentally saved it again. Is it possible for me to get it back?

When you say it was "erased" what exactly did you do and what happened when
you did it?

You saved a blank document over the original. For all practical purposes
it is gone. An expensive data recovery company may be able to get it.
