getting started with groove problems

I downloaded the trial to try before I buy. I can't get started. If I try to
"Create Workspace" or invite someone to share a workspace with me, I
immediately go to a page that has two buttons: "Convert" and "Close". Close
just exits. Convert give me a chance to buy the product but nothing else.

Seems like a catch 22. To use the sw the only choice I have is to buy a full
product or exit. This can't be. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I
don't know what. I tried asking Microsoft from the help pointer but no one
responded.

If I want to do something as simple as share a workspace between two people
that are both me (one on one computer at one place and one on another
computer at another place) how can I do this with the trial to make sure
Groove works? How can you do this if you can't create a workspace or invite
someone to use yours.
