I have just installed Project Server 2003 on Windows Server 2003 standard.
When I attempt to attach to the server using Project 2003 Pro it returns an
error and the page has the following message: 'The following file(s) have
been blocked by the administrator: /isapi/pjdbcomm.dll'. I have used IIS
manager to mark the file as accessible by anonymous and given the
iusr_machine account read/execute access to the file.

What am I missing here?

Thanks
Chad

Chad:

Two important things: Most likely you haven't allowed ISAPI extensions on
the server, but you must also make sure that the Project Server virtual
directory is listed in the exclude list under SharePoint's managed paths if
you installed it on the same virtual server.

I have a similar situation, I have checked that the ISAPI filtered is allowed
and have excluded the directory under Sharepoint. Do I need to exclude every
directory which contains this dll in sharepoint. The reason being is that I
have created a few Project web application in the same and one other
directory.?
