Getting xp to recognize and intialize MODEM

I need help in getting xp to recognize my modem....it was working
fine ...then all of a sudden I can't connect anymore.... I use aol to
connect to the interent.....I've printed all the "help" instructions on this
issue. One of the things I can't do it: when I right click to view the
properties of the modem settings....it WILL NOT LET ME GO TO THE
"PROPERTIES".

Help please.......

I think you'll stand a better chance of getting an answer if you ask in a
newsgroup related to Windows XP. They all start microsoft.public.windowsxp.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.
