Ghosting Office Installs

B

Brian

We have purchased 30 PCs and 30 office basic (OEM) licenses. To save time, I
want to set up one PC and then ghost it to the rest of them. If I have
already activated office on the source PC, would each PC require activation
again? If so, is there a way around having to reactivate office on every PC?
Searching the internet yielded lots of info about reactivating on the same
PC, but I couldn't find anything concrete that described my siutation.

Thanks
Brian

Hi Brian,

You can use the OEM deployment tools as one method.
http://microsoft.com/oem

If you've activated the software that you installed
(OEM software is tied to a specific machine) and clone
it as such you may run into problems.
You may also want to test this method.
