Gif animation pictures do not move in Powerpoint 2008.

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I created my powerpoints in an older Powerpoint version. Now when I open them, my Gif animation pictures do not move. What should I do to make them move.

This is a known issue in Office 2008. The workaround is to insert these
pictures as a movie to see them animate. Some related threads are at:
