Give me back "send as an attachment" in Word 2003

J

Judy R.

My older version of Word has the email option "to send as an attachment".
Outlook Espress opens and you can type whatever message you like - the Word
doc is attached. Word 2003 only has the option to "send the page". Now you
have to mess around to get a space in which to type comment/questions to the
recipient. I tried adding the "send as attachment" button to the tool bar,
but it's grayed out. Just one more petty annoyance.

Hi Judy,

In Word 2003 I have File=>Send to=>Mail Recipient as Attachment and that brings up a new Outlook Express email with the file that
I'm currently editing attached.

Is Outlook Express or MS Office Outlook set as the default mail handler?
