giving others access to a calender..permissions disappear

Hi, when users share their calenders in outlook with other users, these
permissions disappear when we restart our exchange server.
This is greatly annoying our users....does anybody have a clue what is
causing this ?

Hard to say. It might be a server issue, not outlook

what version of outlook and Exchange?
