I just purchased 2003 Pro Suite and want to give my
daughter (in another state) my current XP Pro Suite. How
do I do this?

Put the CDRom in a jiffy bag, put her address on it, put a stamp on it and
stuck it in the mail

A good one, you will have to call microsoft and get a
special activacation code to install it on your daughters
PC. But the information you provide Microsoft must be
identical to the old one, (Name, address, make, model,
etc.) You should tell them you now have a new pc and
would like to use it as your primary system.

Hi Carol,

If the Office 2003 suite you purchased was an upgrade
edition and you used Office XP as the qualifying product
then you did not gain any additional licenses to install
for another person. If the new copy was not an upgrade
and the Office XP copy is not an OEM edition, then it
can be transferred to another person although they
may need to use the telephone activation method after
installing it on a different PC to explain the scenario
to a MS technician.
