Global Groove User Group

A Community Server-based User Group with separate forums for countries has
been set up: www.grooveuser.org
It isn't meant to replace this forum. It will create other ways for people
to network around Groove.

if you can set it up - I can cross-post Groove-related postings from the
above weblog. Drop me an email.

Hi Jim -

Many thanks for doing this. What do you see as the role of this group?

BTW - Did you know there was a Groove partner group many years ago? I think
me and Ashok are the only remaining Groove partners who attended its one and
only meeting!

The purpose of the Global User Group is simple - to create a stronger Groove
user community.
Unlike a workspace which is by invitation only, the site provides a platform
for announcements and for some collaboration between newbies and experts.
Announcements might include local face to face meetings for Groove users and
non-users.

It is a place where you can share your Groove experiences with a wider
audience than just the members of your workspaces or visitors to your
company's site. And it is a focal point for learning - for prospect users,
experienced users, partners and for Microsoft.

Mark, I had heard of a user group from the past that didn't seem to get off
the ground and I'm confident, with Microsoft's backing, that the upswing in
interest in Groove will continue, making local face to face meetings not just
viable, but great occassions to meet people with a strong passion for virtual
teaming.

Thanks for joining, for posting in the Group’s site, and of course for your
contributions in this form
Regards,
Jim
