Global.MPT corrupt

Anyone know how to rebuild a Global.MPT file on PS2007? We can open it,
but whenever it tries to save it, it throws an error and crashes PS2007.
Anyway we could start over?

Trying enabling client side logging so as to capture the error

Try enabling client side logging with the following reg key. Does this
generate any additional information ?

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\MS Project]
"WinprojLog"="c:\\temp\\"
"DebugCategory"=dword:ffffffff
"DebugLevel"=dword:ffffffff
"DebugLoadSerCategory"=dword:000003ed

Are there any useful errors in the application evt log or SharePoint ULS
Logs that indicate the cause ?

Did you make a backup before making the change ? If so, have you tried
conducting a restore ?

If you didn't make a backup, consider it a lesson learned !

Hi

If the local global.mpt is corrept, delete the global.mpt from the following
directory
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Microsoft\MS
Project\12\1033. When ever you connect to the server it will create this file
automatically. Hope this helps.
