Global.mpt strategy for testing

C

Conrad Santiago

I am the master scheduler for our company. I use MSP 2K on my computer handling files on our network
Meanwhile, I want to revamp our system by adding fields, creating new views and filters, etc.
I want to be able to test this new setup on my local drive. Ist there a way to do this without affect the global.mpt? I want to make sure it stays unmodified for my use on the working schedule

Advice is appreciated

Conrad,
Sure, go ahead and create your custom views, tables, filters, etc. They
will be stored with your test file and will not impact the Global.
