global search thru document

When I try to search through my 8 page document, I can't. I need to
search the entire document for people's names, etc, to be sure I have
included them. I can only search one individual article at a time.
That's silly. What's the workaround for this?

Thanks!!

This functionality is introduced in Publisher 2003 - if you want it in
Publisher 2002, you can get an add-in at my site :)

Thanks for a helpful reply, Ed. Will try it.

Can't use Pub 03 - have Win-ME.

PS: This sentence on your home page includes a bad link:
"The Default Text Box add-in is now available in the Add-ins section, ... "

Have you seen somewhere that Pub2003 will absolutely not run on WinMe? This
is news to me... I don't recall seeing that restriction during the beta.

I asked here before I bought it, and that is what I was told. Maybe not
*absolutely* - can't remember - but it's meant for XP.

Randall,

It's 100% accurate. Microsoft Office 2003 products,
including Microsoft Publisher 2003 will only operate on
Windows XP and Windows 2000 SP3 or newer. Windows 3.1,
95, 98, and Windows ME are not supported.

Hmmm. Not doubting you, but I know there's a difference between "will not
run" and "not supported" where platforms are concerned. I can test the beta
for myself at home...

Thanks Erika - fixed now :)

Randall,

When you go to do the install, you will get a dialog box
that will tell you that your operating system is not
supported. Running setup.exe does the same. The install
utility will not let you install Office 2003 on those
OS's. Believe me, I have tried ;-)
