globally changing folder view defaults

Is there anyway to change the default format of new folders created? The
defaults set bt Microsoft are not what I would prefer to use. Right now, I
must go into each folder and change things like grouping, field, sorting
order, etc..

I've search high and low for this setting, but have been unable to find a
way to quickly make a change apply to hundreds of individual mail folders and
subfolders.

Right. E-mail is my life, and to stay organizaed I require over 150
different folders. It is a complete NIGHTMARE to go to each and every folder
and change the settings. Even worse, the "Show in Groups" setting is
automatically applied whenever I sort the Received column.

Damn frustrating.

I don't see an solution to the problem. You may just have to live with it
or switch to Mozilla. My co-worker uses Mozilla and can do some really nifty
things.
