GMail IMAP with Entourage

I have Entourage on an iMac and a MacBook Pro. Is there any way for
"read" messages to be synced? By this, I mean, if I read an IMAP
message in GMail from one computer or my iPhone, can it be marked as
read on the other? Apple Mail does this, but I would love to see it
work this way in Entourage. Maybe I am missing something?

You're right. Mine does the same. I guess I never noticed. I generally
file things as I read them on the iPhone and so they are then filed on
Entourage. However, if I just read it, it will stay as unread on
Entourage. Mail does change the state. I don't see anything in prefs
that would change this. It doesn't really bother me though as I do
tend to file things once read on the remote. If I do leave it in the
inbox that's because I want to do something with it so I naturally
just click it to remind myself of what I want to do. So I guess this
isn't really much of an issue for me. But it probably should reflect
the read status.
