GMail - Oulook 2003 - & cookies???

H

Hoib

Hope I haven't posted this twice:

I keep getting dunned by my band new Gmail that "Gmail requires
cookies to be enabled" when viewed inside Outlook '03. I've gone to
IE and Allowed all. I've rebooted numerous times and cleared cache
and history. I am attempting to use GMail inside Outlook, through
OL's web based interface - not your standard "mail comes in and gets
deposited in the Outlook Inbox". I do this all the time and very
nicely with Hotmail and Yahoo and it works great. Here's the
scenario. Start Outlook (not Express - regular Outlook 2003), go the
the GMail folder, as soon as I click on it, I get in and it all works
and life is good. As soon as I swing away to another
Outlook folder and come back to GMail...Gmail requires cookies to be
enabled. So what this means is I have to kill Outlook and restart it
every time I want to use my setup this way. I only get one shot at
it. I don't know if it's GMail's fault or Outlook's fault. Again, I
am told that Outlook uses IE's settings and controls in large part.

Anyone know how to fix this, please? I suppose I could try to live
with getting in through IE but it's so nice having all my various e-
Mail accounts in one spot, etc. etc.
