Go back to a previous slide with an action button in a kios

I have a problem with a powerpoint presentation running in a continous loop.
It´s an e-learning-tool for education.
The presentation is running automatically (setting is "browsed at a kiosk")
up to a slide with a questions and one right and one wrong answer. If the
user chose the right anwer, the connection to the next slide is realised with
an action button and the presentation continous. If the user chose the wrong
answer, he should go to previous slide (to repeat the chapter). But now the
presentation stops completely!
Is it possible, to realise an action button to an previos slide and the
presentation continous as usual?

Sure.

What do you mean the presentation stops? Does it drop into editing view when
you click the "previous slide" link/button?

What link or action do you have on the action button that goes to the
previous slide?

in german the button I used is called "interaktive Schaltfläche" (in english
perhaps "radio button") , with a link to this previous slide. And if i go
back with this radio button to the previous slide, the presentation "jumped"
to this slide and stopped at this slide. No other action or mouseclick or so
is possible. It doesn´t drop into editing view

The "no other action" has to do with being in Kiosk mode. Two things that I
would try:

(1) Set a hyperlink to the slide itself, not "Previous slide." Under action
settings that would be a hyperlink to Slide..., which then gives you the
option to pick a specific slide.

(2) If that doesn't work, try putting a blank slide right before the slide
you want to jump to. Have that set to automatically advance after 0 seconds.
Then set your hyperlink to go to the blank slide. That should reset the
animations on the slide and let the presentation continue.
