Goldmine Outlook

I am having trouble using email within goldmine and
received this error. Can any understand the error and
maybe point me in the right direction. It seems to be a
general error.

The message "Test Goldmine email" to "Victoria Snyder
<[email protected]>" was not sent because the
following error was returned by the mail server.

550 not Local host aol.com, not a gateway

I will be purchasing the Goldmine at the end of my 30
days. I did the import and now I am trying to make
everything work. I can not send email though Goldmine. We
are sent up on a High-speed DSL connection and for some
reason it only allows dial-up protocol in
the "preferences." Please HELP... I know this has to work
on a high-speed connection.

Thanks,
Joel

You need to set authentication on your server property's page. The error
message is telling you that you are trying to send through another ISP's
server than the one that you are logged on under. Usually setting the
authentication to "Use the same credentials as my incoming server" will set
the problem straight. You might want to check your ISP's web page for
assistance. Most have the mail settings and requirements posted
prominently.
