Good Word VBA Book?

Greetings:
The more I read the information that is on this discussion group, the more I
realize I do not have a very strong base. Could you recommend a book or two
that would provide a good knowledge of Word VBA. I am very proficient in
Excel VBA and somewhat proficient in Access VBA. But woefully inadequate in
Word.

I haven't come across one that didn't put me to sleep before I got anything
useful out of it.

Don't overlook the information that you can get from the Visual Basic Help
file and take a look at the article "Getting To Grips With VBA Basics In 15
Minutes" at:

as well as other information on that site.

Another great resource is http://groups.google.com/advanced_search?q=&

limiting the location groups to be searched to microsoft.public.word.*

Rick,

All VBA books are written at a very basic level. But the three which I've
found the most useful are:

(1) "VB & VBA in a Nutshell" by Paul Lomax;
(2) "Writing Word Macros" by Steven Roman; and
(3) "Mastering VBA" by Guy Hart-Davies.

But honestly, I rely a lot on the Help notes (Microsoft Visual Basic Help),
and Web and forum searches. I also spend a lot of time trying to figure
things out for myself.
