Google Maps in Access Reports?

C

Craig Armitage

Im making a jobs database that currently generates a daily job list with
customers details/address etc for engineers to visit on a given day. I
would love to have a google map of the area included with each report but i
cant get the webbrowser object to work correctly. Ive seen the access web
example but that doesnt make any sense to me :(

Has anyone else done this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Craig,

It doesn't appear that the WebBrowser ActiveX control is supported for
reports. I was able to get it to work fine in a form, but not in a report. I
think this might change in Access 2007, as reports seem to be "live"
in this new version.

If you can save images for each map, then you can use the idea presented in
this KB article:

How to display images from a folder in a form, a report, or a data access
page
