Granting Permissions to a Distribution Group

Outlook 2002: Very often, when I add a DG to the permissions list, the DG is
removed when I click Apply or Okay. If I add 2 or 3 at a time, some stay
some are removed. If I re-add the DG enough times, it will finally stay.
Has anyone seen this?
