Thanks in advance for your help. Is it possible to use a graph apart from
the data source. In other words, once I have made the graph can I use the
graph without it being connected to the data source. If yes how?

One way

select the graph (click it), hold down shift and do edit, then select copy
picture, paste somewhere,
delete the source
