I have a chart in Excel that has it's own tab. If I want to create a
duplicate chart (say Chart2) how do I do that?

hold down Ctrl key, and then drag the chart sheets tab,
release the mouse button before you release Ctrl key.
or
on that tab, right click, click <Move or Copy>,
select the <Create a copy> check box, OK out.
