Graphic colours look faded when printed! Why?

Using MS Office 2003. I created a headed letter template which looks great on
screen but when printed out looks faded and washed out. My OS is XP Pro with
SP2 installed.

Colors rarely print out exactly as they appear on-screen, and certainly never as
"hard" and "bright". Beyond that, the issue would lie in the printer driver, not
in Word. So you should contact the manufacturer of your printer and discuss the
problem with them.
