Graphic in header/footer prints lighter on mac than on pc

I have a graphic in the header of a document. It prints
fine from a PC but when my client prints it from their
mac, it prints the graphic very light - as it appears in
the document view (header/footer display at 50% or so
when viewing document on screen).

I'm not sure what to do to get the image to print
at "full strength" on the mac. Any suggestions?

best way to save the hassle is to save as pdf before
sending to your client.
