Graphic Object causing Equations not to print

E

eq print problem

I have a document where I created equations using the Word 2007 equation
editor. I also created images in ppt and pasted them into Word. These come
in as graphic objects.

When I go to print preview I can see the equations and the objects.
However, when I go to print, either to pdf or a printer, there are blank
spaces where the equations should be. This appears to be a page by page
issue. The pages where a graphic object is not present print just fine.

The workaround I found is to paste the ppt images as a jpeg, bitmap or
metafile. Then, the equations appear fine when printed.

It seems like such an odd problem, has anybody else run into it or know if
MS is aware?
