Graphic Scaling Problem in Excel

I have a graphic which is drawn to scale in Illustrator. I need to import it
into Excel without loosing the original size. My problem is that even when I
use the "Save for Microsoft Office" command that the scale is slightly off
when I import the graphic into Excel. I verified that the scale is accurate
after I save it in Illustrator. But the scale is off after I import it into
Excel. Is anyone familiar with any workarounds for this problem?

yes, I tried that but it doesn't work. The graphic appears in Excel much
smaller than the original graphic in Illustrator.

Hi,

I don't know Illustrator, so if that program can tell you what the size of
the graphic is in inches, note them and when you get the picture into Excel:
1. Right-click the picture and choose Format Picture, chose the Size tab and
enter the figures into the Height and Width boxes.

If this helps, please click the Yes button.

Cheers,

Thanks, but I actually discovered that the resizing occurs during printing.
Is there any way to prevent Excel from resizing graphics during printing. I
coldn't find an option to prevent scaling.

not really, but then this is Excel, not AutoCAD.
