Is it possible to insert a jpg (square) into a word table and change the
shape (of the jpg) to oval?

Yes, but the table cell will still be square, so what would be the point?

Use the drawing toolbar and draw an oval in the table, wrapping to inline,
and then right-click on the oval and chose format autoshape. Choose Fill
effects and picture and then chose the picture that you want to be an oval.
Hope this solves your problem.

The point would be that the 'table' I'm trying to put an oval picture in is
actually an Avery tent card template. The table borders won't actually show
- they're more for the setup/printing aspects. You said 'yes' -- gimme a
hint? Pretty please?

Fay

I used this shape fill for Avery lables, but the background image will not
print. I get a completely blank page from the printer. I have selected the
print option to print all images and backgrounds. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the link and the quick response.

I am not generating a merge field with the lables. I have a single image
(jpeg) that I am setting as the fill for the auto shapes within each table
cell. I am doing it this way so that the image fits perfectly into the shape
for each lable. Its a sheet of six identical lables - just an image.

It looks perfect in print preview, but nothing but a blank page is printed.

Any other ideas to help me out would be greatly appreciated.
